Tardy Policy

While starting the lesson on time and getting the full 25-minute lesson is preferred, we understand that you have a busy schedule and that you may be late on occasion.

Tutors will await your arrival for 10 minutes from the scheduled start time of the lesson.

If you do not attend the lesson during the first 10 minutes, the lesson will be automatically counted as an absence. Your lesson ticket will not be returned.

Please note that tutors can not extend the lesson if you are late, as they may have other lessons scheduled immediately after your lesson.

If you are absent without notice you will lose the booked class. You can not receive a make-up class for a class you did not attend.

Cancelling Your Lesson

You can cancel your booking up to 3 hours before the start of the lesson without losing your lesson ticket. If you cancel within 3 hours of your lesson start time, you will lose your lesson ticket. You are allowed to cancel up to 3 lessons per month and receive a transfer ticket.

Make-up Classes

Make-up classes are given to you by a customer support agent in place of a purchased class. You can request a make-up class if the tutor cannot conduct a lesson because of their internet or other system issues. Please contact Customer Support within 24 hours so that we can coordinate with the tutors to resolve the issue. Please keep in mind that new transfer tickets will only be issued for lessons you attend. If you cancel a make-up class with more than 30 minutes to your lesson start time, it will be given back to you.

Make-up Class Limitations

We will not provide make-up classes for the following situations:

If we confirm that the teacher’s connection is good.
If the student is late, absent or if they forgot to cancel the class.
Even if the delay was the tutor’s fault, if the lesson was only shortened by 5 minutes or less after time has been made up.
If a lesson was not reserved in advance.
As compensation for unused lessons during your current or past payment cycle. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Bad sound quality due to using a smartphone (or any other handheld device) for the lesson.
No refund will be issued if the User has lost and/or forgotten their login credentials (username and passwords), which has resulted in the loss of data, temporary loss of access to the User’s account, or any other inconveniences for the User.
No refund will be issued in case the User has lost connection due to the absence of Internet access, factory reset, or updates.

Booking Make-Up Classes

You may use as many make-up classes in a day as you want.
Make-up class bookings must be made within 30 days of being issued.
Students cannot give make-up classes to anyone else.

Monthly plans: The cost of the class is deducted automatically from your credit card every month. Each month consists of 30 days from the date of subscription. Your monthly payment will occur 30 days from the last payment. Plans can not be changed while subscribed.
3-month plans: The full amount will be charged at the time of purchase. Classes will be distributed at the beginning of each month during your subscription. These are set term plans and do not automatically recur. Plans can not be changed while subscribed.
Make-up classes expire after 30 days. Unused classes will not rollover to the next month and are non-refundable.
Booking rules : Lesson bookings are limited to one active booking at a time. You will be able to book your next lesson once your existing lesson has started. (Exception: the two classes per day plan can book two lessons at a time and have two lessons per day.)
If you are subscribed to a monthly plan and have decided that you do not want to continue with the service, please make sure to cancel your subscription by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button in your Account Profile settings. If you unsubscribe before your next payment, you will not be charged automatically.

General Payment, Reservation and Cancellation Information


Our payment processor allows you to pay with your credit card; however sometimes the credit card company can charge you a fee for making an international transaction. This fee depends on your bank and is nonrefundable. We suggest you contact your bank or credit card company if you have any questions about the fees or the applicable exchange rates. We are not responsible for any kind of fee charged by banks or third-party payment
processors, and will not cover it when initiating a refund.
Payments can be made via Visa, Mastercard, or ACH.
Lessons can be booked up to 15 minutes before the start time.
Lessons can be cancelled up to the lesson’s start time, however only those cancelled up to 30 minutes before the lesson start time will receive a return ticket.
If a tutor becomes unavailable for a lesson at the scheduled time, the student will receive a make-up class to reschedule their lesson with the same or different tutor.

Monthly subscriptions can be fully refunded within 7 days from the payment date if the student has not taken any lessons. After 7 days from the payment date, it is non-refundable unless we suffer a technical issue.
The refund policy is only valid for the first month of monthly subscriptions. Refunds are not given from the second payment onwards. You will be automatically charged for the subscription every month until you cancel, whether you have taken the corresponding lessons or not. You must cancel your subscription before the plan renews for the month (see your account page for more information). Refund requests must be made to Customer Support.
3-month plans are non-refundable unless we suffer a technical issue that prevents you using the system for the duration of the plan.
Make-up classes expire after 30 days and are non-refundable.
